LEV SHNOL: HOW I INVENTED THE FIRST UNIVERSAL LITTER PICKUP TOOL
Working a part-time job as a cleaning subcontractor, I noticed that in some situations, one litter pick up tool works better and faster than the other depending on littering condition. But these conditions vary greatly, and you never know when a particular tool is required. This leaves the only two choices, use a cart or carry only one tool. The dilemma may be solved with an all-in-one tool like a Swiss army knife. The idea of a universal tool was quite obvious. Every broom has a brush and handle. The handle is usually a tube. Why not make a broom slidable over broom handle and put inside the handle some pickup tools? After experiments with my idea, I created a working prototype and started using it. Using the tool will save cleaning time while creating better quality. This all-in-one tool is the perfect blend of utility, size, and portability.
